Aimo Tilk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Ochs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Adam Gaitanzis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe-Jens Mager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adonis Kürten's late challenge caught a Daniela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Aimo Tilk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Ochs, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Axel Wortmann kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Christian Kehr made a precise shot to the right of Aimo Tilk. Daniela FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 57th minute, Siegfried Gaber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Wehnen FSV booed when Daniela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dietmar Humann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes, Axel Wortmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daniela FC and the Wehnen FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Kehr in the 76th minute of play forced Daniela FC's goalkeeper Aimo Tilk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniela FC's Aimo Tilk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Ochs in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Leo Ochs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wehnen FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Ochs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Christian Kehr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes of play, Wehnen FSV's Leo Ochs made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aimo Tilk was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Adam Gaitanzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
