An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Lüpke in the 15th minute of play forced Enger FSV's goalkeeper Sievert Eschbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Lüpke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Enger FSV's zone, Folke Hasse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sievert Eschbach came out of the goal and Folke Hasse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Klaus Dieter Kindermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Kasimir Weißgerber had several of the FC Saufhampton's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Torsten Leihkauf as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 30 minutes, Folke Hasse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Saufhampton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Hasse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enger FSV's Sievert Eschbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Hasse in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Saufhampton's Folke Hasse got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Kasimir Weißgerber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Saufhampton's Torsten Leihkauf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute Kasimir Weißgerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Leihkauf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Lüpke was the one to do the kick off. Till Zengerle helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes FC Saufhampton got a freekick which was hit by Till Zengerle. In the 64th match minute, Enger FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasimir Weißgerber to maneuver through the defense. Kasimir Weißgerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
