Spectators: 7450 (Terracing: 5589, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Marvin Nimz made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rupert Renger in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludwig Pfitzner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 played minutes 1.FC Do Ping got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Donnerbauer. After having played for 9 minutes, Lauritz Marohn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colonia Agrippina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauritz Marohn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Samuel Donnerbauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes, Colonia Agrippina's Hans Seel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ludwig Pfitzner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colonia Agrippina reached it. The supporters of Colonia Agrippina booed when 1.FC Do Ping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Donnerbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Chittka charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans Chittka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 1.FC Do Ping! Hendrik Stark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marvin Nimz in the 26th minute of the match. If Lauritz Marohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rupert Renger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, 1.FC Do Ping's goal looked a bit too open when Lauritz Marohn came free, but Ludwig Pfitzner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corvinus Busse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Hendrik Stark made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rupert Renger made a kick off. Ludwig Pfitzner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Renger in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, 1.FC Do Ping's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Renger came free, but Ludwig Pfitzner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Julius Kapell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1.FC Do Ping's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colonia Agrippina the free kick. After 73 played minutes 1.FC Do Ping got a freekick which was hit by Julius Kapell. In the 73rd minute, Hans Seel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and 1.FC Do Ping's Ludwig Pfitzner didn't even have to move. 75 minutes in the game, Rupert Renger fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ludwig Pfitzner having to interfere. When Rupert Renger came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Colonia Agrippina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rupert Renger couldn't finish the play. Julius Kapell was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to 1.FC Do Ping getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Julius Kapell hit a great ball. When Colonia Agrippina's Rupert Renger in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1.FC Do Ping's goalie prevented a goal. Marvin Nimz charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marvin Nimz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes 1.FC Do Ping got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Nimz. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Corvinus Busse managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.FC Do Ping's supporters rose to their feet, but Corvinus Busse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hendrik Stark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fritz Ehret fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colonia Agrippina's protests and gave Fritz Ehret a yellow card for diving instead.
