Jens Denck made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of More1 booed when FC Saufhampton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Till Zengerle didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jens Denck came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the More1 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens Denck couldn't finish the play. In the 5th match minute, FC Saufhampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedikt Bensch to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Leihkauf made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Jens Denck sent off a good shot on target. Marco Lüpke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Patrick Lötzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. More1's Patrick Lötzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Hasse in the 11th minute of play. More1's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Saufhampton the free kick. The supporters of FC Saufhampton booed when More1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Lötzer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 26th minute Marco Lüpke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Lötzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Lüpke made a kick off. Folke Hasse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Patrick Lötzer made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens Denck in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Leihkauf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Till Zengerle hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaus Männel in the 57th minute of play forced FC Saufhampton's goalkeeper Torsten Leihkauf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manfred Ovekamp during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Folke Hasse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Lötzer having to interfere. When Karim Bade fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored More1's protests and gave Karim Bade a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes More1 got a freekick which was hit by Karim Bade. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Reiner Gaede managed to get in a good position for a shot. More1's supporters rose to their feet, but Reiner Gaede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Leihkauf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
