If Klaus Dieter Kindermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, TSV Lindau 1896's goal looked a bit too open when Kasimir Weißgerber came free, but Gerd Assmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute of the match Konrad Lettinger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerd Assmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Klaus Dieter Kindermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerd Assmann having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Enger FSV got a freekick which was hit by David Terranova. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias W Kastener in the 16th minute of play forced Enger FSV's goalkeeper Sievert Eschbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Knut Uehlemann in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sievert Eschbach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Matthias W Kastener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Matthias W Kastener managed to get in a good position for a shot. TSV Lindau 1896's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias W Kastener was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sievert Eschbach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerd Assmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasimir Weißgerber in the 31st minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Blaise Götze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enger FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TSV Lindau 1896 the free kick. Gerd Assmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasimir Weißgerber in the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes TSV Lindau 1896 got a freekick which was hit by Achim Benada. After recieving a nice pass, Enger FSV's Theo Kobs tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Theo Kobs shot from long distance in the 49th minute, but Gerd Assmann was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Knut Uehlemann made the kick off in the second half. Matthias W Kastener recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blaise Götze got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 54 played minutes Enger FSV got a freekick which was hit by Blaise Götze. Knut Uehlemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Kasimir Weißgerber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Klaus Dieter Kindermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Enger FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasimir Weißgerber to maneuver through the defense. Matthias W Kastener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to TSV Lindau 1896 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Benjamin Gutjahr hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Kasimir Weißgerber notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of TSV Lindau 1896's Gerd Assmann. Gerd Assmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerd Assmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasimir Weißgerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klaus Dieter Kindermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Klaus Dieter Kindermann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Enger FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
