Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Folke Hasse kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, one of FC Saufhampton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Torsten Leihkauf had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Lennie Gräßer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 6 played minutes FC Saufhampton got a freekick which was hit by Folke Hasse. In the 9th minute, Florentin Lehnigk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folke Hasse in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludwig Pfitzner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rurik Berthelé fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludwig Pfitzner having to interfere. Marco Lüpke hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Rurik Berthelé cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ludwig Pfitzner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 1.FC Do Ping's Ludwig Pfitzner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Hasse in the 30th minute of play. Rurik Berthelé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ludwig Pfitzner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Folke Hasse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludwig Pfitzner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rurik Berthelé, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Samuel Donnerbauer fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1.FC Do Ping's protests and gave Samuel Donnerbauer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to 1.FC Do Ping getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Samuel Donnerbauer hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Folke Hasse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rurik Berthelé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ludwig Pfitzner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to 1.FC Do Ping getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lennie Gräßer hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marvin Nimz to make the kick off. Folke Hasse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julius Kapell kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ludwig Pfitzner acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Yannis Witzke. Folke Hasse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludwig Pfitzner having to interfere. FC Saufhampton's Rurik Berthelé got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Folke Hasse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludwig Pfitzner having to interfere. In the 71st minute Folke Hasse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludwig Pfitzner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marvin Nimz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Leihkauf having to interfere. Ludwig Pfitzner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Hasse in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Julius Kapell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Hasse in the 91st minute of play forced 1.FC Do Ping's goalkeeper Ludwig Pfitzner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marvin Nimz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Hasse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ludwig Pfitzner having to make a save. FC Saufhampton's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
