The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Harro Graichen made the kick off in the second half. Nordholt FSV's Winfried Gref played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harro Graichen in the 55th minute of play. Nicolai Wurfel's late challenge caught a Sterzenbach's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pjotr List yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The Nordholt FSV players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
