The supporters of Sterzenbach booed when ЦСКА Lippstadt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Grenzhäuser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harro Graichen struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Gordon Holstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sterzenbach. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Richard Kurtz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sterzenbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Kurtz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gordon Holstein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harro Graichen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ЦСКА Lippstadt booed when Sterzenbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingo Schubert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, ЦСКА Lippstadt's goal looked a bit too open when Ingo Schubert came free, but Gordon Holstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ЦСКА Lippstadt's Andreas Tiede got a free kick in the 78th minute. Gordon Holstein was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Julius Dominicus. Richard Kurtz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gordon Holstein having to interfere. If Harro Graichen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Richard Kurtz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gordon Holstein was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bastiaan Vollbracht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Harro Graichen took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Gordon Holstein to make any attempt to save it. Sterzenbach's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
