Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolf Seidl started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, Sterzenbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harro Graichen to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Kurtz got free with Alexander Plank in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harro Graichen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 10 played minutes Ajax Amsterdam got a freekick which was hit by Bert Naab. Richard Kurtz struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Alexander Plank didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sterzenbach. A hard shot by Rick Drostel from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Alexander Plank's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Sterzenbach booed when Ajax Amsterdam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timur Bleib didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julius Dominicus was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Harro Graichen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Plank didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Kurtz went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, Ajax Amsterdam's goal looked a bit too open when Harro Graichen came free, but Alexander Plank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Kurtz scored 2-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Plank, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute of the match, Richard Kurtz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexander Plank was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Richard Kurtz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Alexander Plank made a huge save. Richard Kurtz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Plank having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harro Graichen to strike the kick off in the second half. Harro Graichen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Sterzenbach's Richard Kurtz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Plank made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 57thth minute of the game Harro Graichen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ajax Amsterdam's Alexander Plank was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Roberto Öllerich was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sterzenbach's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ajax Amsterdam the free kick. Rolf Seidl showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. Ajax Amsterdam's Alexander Plank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harro Graichen in the 88th minute of play. When Sterzenbach's Harro Graichen in 90 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alexander Plank guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When the referee ended the match the Sterzenbach players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
