Commerden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berthold Hambloch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Commerden's Rico Rogosch in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 78th minute, Berthold Hambloch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gordon Holstein was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Rico Rogosch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gordon Holstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. With his leg Gordon Holstein managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Commerden's Berthold Hambloch fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Manfred Grenzhäuser's late challenge caught a Commerden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfred Grenzhäuser helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Commerden booed when ЦСКА Lippstadt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Grenzhäuser didn't get a good kick on the ball.
