Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Harry Berssenbrügge got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Schmarloh FC booed when 1.FC Fulda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvatore Marx didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1.FC Fulda's David Seelig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albrecht Achteresch in the 6th minute of play. David Seelig came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Schmarloh FC's Hubert Hafner. But to his dismay, Hubert Hafner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 11 minutes, Salvatore Marx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1.FC Fulda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvatore Marx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Schmarloh FC's Hubert Hafner got a free kick in the 12th minute. David Seelig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marc-Dominic Zichmann went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, 1.FC Fulda's goal looked a bit too open when Marc-Dominic Zichmann came free, but David Seelig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Schmarloh FC's Armando Hopp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Berssenbrügge in the 23rd minute of play. David Seelig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Hafner in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Brandon Rösen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1.FC Fulda and the Schmarloh FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes 1.FC Fulda got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Rösen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc-Dominic Zichmann in the 28th minute of play forced 1.FC Fulda's goalkeeper David Seelig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugh Weinmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Hopp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugh Weinmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Hugh Weinmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harry Berssenbrügge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugh Weinmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hugh Weinmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bert Chakravorty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Hopp having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Schmarloh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Berssenbrügge came free, but Armando Hopp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Marc-Dominic Zichmann made the kick off in the second half. Bert Chakravorty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to 1.FC Fulda getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Brandon Rösen hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Hugh Weinmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schmarloh FC's goalkeeper Armando Hopp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karsten Dehm charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karsten Dehm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karsten Dehm hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Schmarloh FC's Karsten Dehm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Seelig. That made the score 0-3 after 65 minutes of play. David Seelig made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Karsten Dehm sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, 1.FC Fulda's David Seelig got control of the ball when Albrecht Achteresch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salvatore Marx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harry Berssenbrügge struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Armando Hopp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1.FC Fulda. If Hugh Weinmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Salvatore Marx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1.FC Fulda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 93rd minute Marc-Dominic Zichmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seelig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugh Weinmann in the 94th minute of play forced Schmarloh FC's goalkeeper Armando Hopp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Salvatore Marx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Hopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
