Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marc-Dominic Zichmann started the match with the kick off. Armando Hopp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philipp Grüner in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Görzhausen's Ole Brübach got a free kick in the 8th minute. Bernd Grunewald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc-Dominic Zichmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Hopp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Schützer in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philipp Grüner got free with Armando Hopp in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 minutes Schmarloh FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jo Irgang who took care of the corner kick. 31 minutes into the match, Görzhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Albrecht Achteresch came free, but Bernd Grunewald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Philipp Grüner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Görzhausen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Hubert Hafner fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schmarloh FC's protests and gave Hubert Hafner a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Görzhausen booed when Schmarloh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Hafner didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Schützer in the 39th minute of play forced Schmarloh FC's goalkeeper Armando Hopp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Schützer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Hopp having to interfere. Albrecht Achteresch struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Bernd Grunewald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schmarloh FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Björn Schützer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Görzhausen's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn Schützer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Hopp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Björn Schützer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Armando Hopp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Björn Schützer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Hopp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philipp Grüner went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the match, Philipp Grüner notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Schmarloh FC's Armando Hopp. Armando Hopp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute, Hubert Hafner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philipp Grüner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Schützer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Hopp having to interfere. Karsten Dehm's late challenge caught a Görzhausen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karsten Dehm helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Schmarloh FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Karsten Dehm hit a great ball. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Schmarloh FC! Armando Hopp had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Jo Irgang's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 93rd minute Björn Schützer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Hopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute of the match Jo Irgang sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Hopp skillfully saved the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Görzhausen had played much better football throughout.
