Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Björn Schützer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Görzhausen's Philipp Grüner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julius Dierking narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Philipp Grüner scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julius Dierking, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Düddingen's Julius Dierking proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Düddingen from getting a goal against them. Görzhausen's Leon Holz pulled a muscle in his leg after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 11 minutes, Roland Walz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Düddingen and the Görzhausen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Roland Walz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th play minute Philipp Grüner came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julius Dierking. 2-0. In the 21st minute, Philipp Grüner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Philipp Grüner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julius Dierking having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Düddingen's zone, Philipp Grüner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Dierking came out of the goal and Philipp Grüner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philipp Grüner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Julius Dierking when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 35 minutes into the game, Bradley Kroos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Görzhausen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Düddingen the free kick. In the 35th minute, Bradley Kroos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bradley Kroos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klaus Götz lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Görzhausen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörg Illing to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Bradley Kroos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Görzhausen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradley Kroos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Düddingen's zone, Burkhard Barthel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Dierking came out of the goal and Burkhard Barthel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Düddingen's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Kroos came free, but Julius Dierking reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Jörg Illing reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernd Grunewald. The goal made the score 2-1. Bernd Grunewald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörg Illing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörg Illing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Björn Schützer came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Görzhausen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Schützer couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Görzhausen's Bernd Grunewald got control of the ball when Marcel Edinger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julius Dierking showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burkhard Barthel in the 90th minute of the match. Julius Dierking made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Kroos in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Görzhausen's goalkeeper Bernd Grunewald, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Burkhard Barthel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Dierking having to interfere. Görzhausen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
