Balduin Pistauer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damir Haunstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Gernot Brahms had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damir Haunstein. Caupolicán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernot Brahms was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Gernot Brahms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Raakamp FC's Dominik Werners got control of the ball when Helge Schwarze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franz-Peter Gilde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Werners having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Gerald Kowalewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damir Haunstein was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 28th minute, Gerald Kowalewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gernot Brahms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerald Kowalewski in the 38th minute of play forced Caupolicán's goalkeeper Damir Haunstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Helge Schwarze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Caupolicán's zone, Gerald Kowalewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franz-Peter Gilde to strike the kick off in the second half. Damir Haunstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerald Kowalewski in the 54th minute. Gerald Kowalewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gernot Brahms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Damir Haunstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Caupolicán's zone, Gerald Kowalewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 66 minutes, Carl Brandl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caupolicán and the Raakamp FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caupolicán's Carl Brandl got a free kick in the 66th minute. Damir Haunstein was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Shingo Hohn. Damir Haunstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernot Brahms, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Gernot Brahms recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Raakamp FC defense, Franz-Peter Gilde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dominik Werners. The Raakamp FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dominik Werners should have stopped the shot. Damir Haunstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerald Kowalewski in the 81st minute. Caupolicán's Damir Haunstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernot Brahms in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Caupolicán's Helge Schwarze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominik Werners narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gerald Kowalewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damir Haunstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernot Brahms in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernot Brahms in the 98th minute of play forced Caupolicán's goalkeeper Damir Haunstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raakamp FC played a much better game than Caupolicán and deserved their victory. The Caupolicán players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
