Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paul Morawitz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Paul Morawitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deizisau's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Morawitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferit Gellekum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Louis Rüschenbaum might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Spruth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Louis Rüschenbaum ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deizisau's goalkeeper Dennis Spruth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 minutes, Dietrich Schöneberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reecke FC and the Deizisau players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dietrich Schöneberg hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Paul Morawitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Spruth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Rüschenbaum's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the Deizisau defense, Louis Rüschenbaum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Spruth. The Deizisau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Spruth should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the game, Philip Kaas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deizisau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reecke FC the free kick. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Reecke FC. Heini Wiegenstein stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dennis Spruth. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
Bernd Bernstein scored 1-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferit Gellekum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Reecke FC's Heini Wiegenstein got a free kick in the 64th minute. Reecke FC's Ferit Gellekum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Morawitz in the 66th minute of play. When Tim Kümmel came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Reecke FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Kümmel couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Bernd Bernstein notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Reecke FC's Ferit Gellekum. Ferit Gellekum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tim Kümmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Rüschenbaum got free with Dennis Spruth in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dennis Spruth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Kümmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Pete Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Deizisau's Hansel Behn got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Heini Wiegenstein sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Deizisau's Dennis Spruth didn't even have to move. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
