In the 2nd match minute, Nußbaum FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Schramm to maneuver through the defense. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julius Hackner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goran Görtz having to interfere. Raik Kott's late challenge caught a Nußbaum FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nußbaum FSV's Luka Warth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Hebel in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Nußbaum FSV's Julius Hackner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goran Görtz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dirk Philipp kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Alexander Vöhringer struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Goran Görtz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nußbaum FSV. The audience was convinced that Julius Hackner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Goran Görtz was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Julius Hackner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nußbaum FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Julius Hackner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goran Görtz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luka Warth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Oberholtzer in the 49th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julius Hackner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 94th minute, Nußbaum FSV's Julius Hackner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Nußbaum FSV walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
