Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Steffen Minschke took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Horst Starke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fridolin Garske was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Fridolin Garske showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Mauer in the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Conni Krankenbroker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fridolin Garske took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steffen Minschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joschi Metzner during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dammducht FSV's Joschi Metzner got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With his leg Fridolin Garske managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Nettesheim's Horst Starke fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute Steffen Minschke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fridolin Garske saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fridolin Garske took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steffen Minschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dammducht FSV's Fridolin Garske proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Dammducht FSV from getting a goal against them. Volkmar Bodewig kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Horst Starke's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fridolin Garske firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arnd Heuchel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horst Starke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fridolin Garske tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnd Heuchel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steffen Minschke in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fridolin Garske prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Horst Starke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fridolin Garske showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steffen Minschke, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 66 minutes of play, Nettesheim's Horst Starke made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fridolin Garske was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fridolin Garske didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Steffen Minschke went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Hansjürgen Orben's late challenge caught a Nettesheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hansjürgen Orben helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Hansjürgen Orben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Arnd Heuchel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richart Rübin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walther Falke hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Dammducht FSV defense, Steffen Minschke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fridolin Garske. The Dammducht FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fridolin Garske should have stopped the shot. Horst Starke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fridolin Garske tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arnd Heuchel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dammducht FSV players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nettesheim.
