Spectators: 7138 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Georg Nicklis started the match with the kick off. In the 6th match minute, Iserlohn Kangaroos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akim Lingemann to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Georg Nicklis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Domenico Liess, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Austin Roßbach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stummeldorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Austin Roßbach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sören Räthe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iserlohn Kangaroos were furious when Akim Lingemann was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Iserlohn Kangaroos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Iserlohn Kangaroos:s Sören Räthe showed great skill when he stopped Relf Merker:s penalty. In the 24th minute of the match Stummeldorf got a corner. Iserlohn Kangaroos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Relf Merker ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Sirius Groth heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Stummeldorf booed when Iserlohn Kangaroos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folker Augenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sören Räthe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Anwalter's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 33 minutes, Georg Nicklis made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Stummeldorf's Domenico Liess tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Iserlohn Kangaroos's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Anwalter came free, but Sören Räthe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Stummeldorf's Sirius Groth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sören Räthe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexander Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Iserlohn Kangaroos's Alexander Berger got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute Sirius Groth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Räthe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Anwalter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Oliver Anwalter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sören Räthe. Iserlohn Kangaroos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliver Anwalter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sirius Groth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sören Räthe made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Oliver Anwalter sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Anwalter got free with Sören Räthe in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Folker Augenthaler hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Sören Räthe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sirius Groth, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute of the match, Sirius Groth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sören Räthe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Domenico Liess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Nicklis in the 72nd minute of play. Alexander Berger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Domenico Liess. Stummeldorf's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Oliver Anwalter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Sirius Groth recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sören Räthe. Sirius Groth showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Stummeldorf's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
