In the 4th minute Eduard Heuchel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Geibel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rainer Flug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Antoine Tauss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoine Tauss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otfried Münzner in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otfried Münzner in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antoine Tauss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aver's Otfried Münzner got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Jörg Zientarski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chris Geibel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduard Heuchel's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 31 minutes in the game, Jörg Zientarski fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Chris Geibel having to interfere. Otfried Münzner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Tauss having to interfere. If Rainer Flug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aver's Otfried Münzner got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Xarardheere Kob Dhexaad's Eduard Heuchel in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aver's goalie prevented a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduard Heuchel made a kick off. Xarardheere Kob Dhexaad's Eduard Heuchel got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jörg Zientarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thorben Bauermeister charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thorben Bauermeister the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jörg Zientarski might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chris Geibel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörg Zientarski ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guntram Möller during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guntram Möller hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Detlef Löber kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Otfried Münzner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chris Geibel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Heuchel in the 97th minute of the match. The Aver players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Xarardheere Kob Dhexaad from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
