After a rather tough play, Germania Bonn's Ronald Stadler got a free kick in the 11th minute. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Casimir Krughöfer sped through Germania Bonn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dennis Dobinski. Casimir Krughöfer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Dobinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Oliver Merkel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dennis Dobinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Germania Bonn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heini Zielonka to maneuver through the defense. If Casimir Krughöfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gemmerich FSV fully deserved thier win.
