Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ingo Hovermann started the match with the kick off. Gero Rausch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mayk Poggenborg in the 4th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Frans Trochowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clint Höfer, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Ingo Hovermann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jupp Abschatz was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. TSV Moorenweis's Matthew Della got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 played minutes TSV Moorenweis got a freekick which was hit by Arno Gehlen. 37 minutes into the match, TSV Moorenweis's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Krause came free, but Gero Rausch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Friesau FC:s Jupp Abschatz showed great skill when he stopped Clint Höfer:s penalty. If Ingo Hovermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uli Gentner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Friesau FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after TSV Moorenweis's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arne Krause took the corner. If Ingo Hovermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ingo Hovermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jupp Abschatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Hofreiter charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Hofreiter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Friesau FC's Andreas Hofreiter got a free kick in the 59th minute. Matthew Della fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jupp Abschatz having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Friesau FC! A collision led to TSV Moorenweis getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jan Thielemann hit a great ball. Uli Gentner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mayk Poggenborg struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gero Rausch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Friesau FC. The supporters of Friesau FC booed when TSV Moorenweis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Della didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Friesau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Della came free, but Jupp Abschatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
