A beautiful save bye FC Bernhardswald's goalie prevented a goal. Konrad Gilles kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Martin Frigger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jürn Ruck having to interfere. Ivo Reents fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jürn Ruck having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Martin Frigger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jürn Ruck was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bernhardswald's zone, Ivo Reents stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jürn Ruck came out of the goal and Ivo Reents tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Klaas Czisch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank-Ulrich Ballwanz was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Patrick Kimmel struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jürn Ruck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Etscheid FC. In the 29th minute of the match Uwe Nittel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jürn Ruck skillfully saved the ball. FC Bernhardswald's Jürn Ruck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Frigger in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Etscheid FC's Ivo Reents made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jürn Ruck was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ivo Reents had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Patrick Kimmel fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Etscheid FC's protests and gave Patrick Kimmel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Etscheid FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Kimmel to maneuver through the defense. Nolan Waldner was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Etscheid FC's Martin Frigger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jürn Ruck narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Frigger to strike the kick off in the second half. In the last second Jürn Ruck throw himself and got hold of the ball when Martin Frigger in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 54 played minutes, FC Bernhardswald's Nolan Waldner shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frank-Ulrich Ballwanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Bernhardswald reached it. In the 56th minute, Klaas Czisch made a precise shot to the right of Frank-Ulrich Ballwanz. Etscheid FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Etscheid FC's zone, Klaas Czisch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank-Ulrich Ballwanz came out of the goal and Klaas Czisch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Frigger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jürn Ruck came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Frigger slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 64th minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Hendrik Seiss took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Jürn Ruck to make any attempt to save it. Jürn Ruck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivo Reents went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Jürn Ruck was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Uwe Nittel. The audience was convinced that Martin Frigger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jürn Ruck was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, Etscheid FC's Martin Frigger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jürn Ruck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivo Reents fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jürn Ruck having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Martin Frigger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Etscheid FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Frigger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivo Reents struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jürn Ruck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Etscheid FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Frigger in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jürn Ruck saved FC Bernhardswald from getting behind. Nils Krien, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 96th match minute, Etscheid FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Krien to maneuver through the defense. Etscheid FC played a much better game than FC Bernhardswald and deserved their victory. The FC Bernhardswald players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
