When Tim Klomfaß came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Gemenwirthe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Klomfaß couldn't finish the play. If Fabio Ahlf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Gemenwirthe's Tim Klomfaß slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rudolf Achterdeck. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. 21 minutes into the match, Gemenwirthe's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Ahlf came free, but Ansgar Huhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Gemenwirthe's goal looked a bit too open when Meinolf Appenrodt came free, but Ansgar Huhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind SG BBM Bietigheim's goalkeeper Rudolf Achterdeck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rudolf Achterdeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Klomfaß, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Ahlf in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ansgar Huhn saved Gemenwirthe from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gemenwirthe's Volkhard Kraus got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ansgar Huhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meinolf Appenrodt in the 36th minute of play. SG BBM Bietigheim's Meinolf Appenrodt got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Meinolf Appenrodt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ansgar Huhn having to make a save. SG BBM Bietigheim's Fabio Ahlf got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Meinolf Appenrodt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ansgar Huhn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Meinolf Appenrodt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tim Klomfaß made a kick off. Meinolf Appenrodt struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ansgar Huhn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SG BBM Bietigheim. Gemenwirthe's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Meinolf Appenrodt 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. When Tim Klomfaß came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Gemenwirthe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Klomfaß couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Meinolf Appenrodt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ansgar Huhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meinolf Appenrodt in the 67th minute of the match. Volkhard Kraus's late challenge caught a SG BBM Bietigheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Volkhard Kraus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Gemenwirthe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Volkhard Kraus to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Tiggelkamp, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 77 minutes into the match, SG BBM Bietigheim's Fabio Ahlf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ansgar Huhn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esteban Boehme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Achterdeck having to interfere. Rudolf Achterdeck came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gemenwirthe's Tim Klomfaß. But to his dismay, Tim Klomfaß quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After having played for 86 minutes, Fabio Ahlf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SG BBM Bietigheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Ahlf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, SG BBM Bietigheim's Meinolf Appenrodt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ansgar Huhn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Gemenwirthe's zone, Arthur Schuhmacher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ansgar Huhn came out of the goal and Arthur Schuhmacher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Fabio Ahlf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SG BBM Bietigheim players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
