With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudolf Achterdeck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the match, SG BBM Bietigheim's goalkeeper Rudolf Achterdeck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Levi Peschel. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SG BBM Bietigheim's goalkeeper Rudolf Achterdeck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fabio Ahlf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jürgen Nowack's late challenge caught a Chausseesiedlung's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jürgen Nowack helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SG BBM Bietigheim getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jürgen Nowack hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Meinolf Appenrodt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odilo Merker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Meinolf Appenrodt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Odilo Merker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jürgen Nowack hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Rudolf Achterdeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Levi Peschel in the 42nd minute. Fabio Ahlf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Odilo Merker having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dirk Wagefeld to make the kick off. Levi Peschel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Achterdeck having to interfere. Rudolf Achterdeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk Wagefeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Levi Peschel came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Chausseesiedlung fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levi Peschel couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Wagefeld in the 70th minute of play forced SG BBM Bietigheim's goalkeeper Rudolf Achterdeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Achterdeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Wagefeld in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Arthur Schuhmacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Levi Peschel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Levi Peschel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chausseesiedlung's supporters rose to their feet, but Levi Peschel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Achterdeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Levi Peschel made a precise shot to the right of Rudolf Achterdeck. SG BBM Bietigheim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Levi Peschel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudolf Achterdeck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chausseesiedlung had played much better football throughout.
