Enno Gerke took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domenico Schwertges. Domenico Schwertges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Domenico Schwertges didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Kirchmer went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute, Dion Kartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domenico Schwertges was a little too slow when Heiner Geldreich got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 4-0. Dion Kartz kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Enno Gerke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Domenico Schwertges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Kirchmer got free with Domenico Schwertges in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KFC Uerdingen's Domenico Schwertges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiner Geldreich in the 28th minute of play. Lukas Schüddekopf struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Klemens Gaisenkersting didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Uerdingen. Klemens Gaisenkersting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Schaffrath in the 33rd minute of play. Markus Schaffrath made a great header on KFC Uerdingen's corner, it was just that Ghetto Boys 09's Klemens Gaisenkersting managed to reach the ball for a save. After 40 minutes, Enno Gerke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ghetto Boys 09 and the KFC Uerdingen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domenico Schwertges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiner Geldreich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KFC Uerdingen's Domenico Schwertges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Uerdingen from getting a goal against them. Enno Gerke succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 47th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Klemens Gaisenkersting was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 92 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Kirchmer came free, but Domenico Schwertges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
