Klemens Gaisenkersting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samir Wilhelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ghetto Boys 09 getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ernst Ellermann hit a great ball. Arminia Bielefeld's Klaus Sombrutzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enno Gerke in the 6th minute of play. Klemens Gaisenkersting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franz Zimmermann in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiner Geldreich in the 17th minute of play forced Arminia Bielefeld's goalkeeper Klaus Sombrutzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enno Gerke took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klaus Sombrutzki. Klaus Sombrutzki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Arminia Bielefeld's Klaus Sombrutzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enno Gerke in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Ghetto Boys 09's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Belusa came free, but Klemens Gaisenkersting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Arminia Bielefeld getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mehmet Ertas Knabe hit a great ball. Timotheus Dürr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klaus Sombrutzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiner Geldreich in the 31st minute of the match. Klaus Sombrutzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Kirchmer in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heiner Geldreich in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klaus Sombrutzki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klaus Sombrutzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enno Gerke, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ghetto Boys 09's Klemens Gaisenkersting proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ghetto Boys 09 from getting a goal against them. After 38 played minutes Arminia Bielefeld got a freekick which was hit by Franz Zimmermann. In the 40th play minute Hank Linn came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Klemens Gaisenkersting. 1-1. In the 44th minute, Enno Gerke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Kirchmer kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Belusa made a kick off. Mehmet Ertas Knabe hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Enno Gerke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 minutes, Enno Gerke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ghetto Boys 09 and the Arminia Bielefeld players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ghetto Boys 09's Enno Gerke got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arminia Bielefeld's goalkeeper Klaus Sombrutzki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hank Linn charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hank Linn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Hank Linn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Enno Gerke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klaus Sombrutzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Kirchmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Klaus Sombrutzki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Heiner Geldreich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dion Kartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Sombrutzki having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ghetto Boys 09 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Siegfried Schröder shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 82nd match minute, Arminia Bielefeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Zimmermann to maneuver through the defense. Franz Zimmermann hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to Arminia Bielefeld getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hank Linn hit a great ball. Ghetto Boys 09's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
