An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakobus Oyan in the 4th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Folke Arnim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 minutes, Heinrich Heck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Dortmund and the Wolfskehlen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Heinrich Heck. 14 minutes into the match, Emmerich Pflüger notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Wolfskehlen FC's Morgan Heuer. Morgan Heuer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Folke Arnim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunther Schuster, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakobus Oyan in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folke Arnim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the game, Maximilian Bischoff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolfskehlen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Dortmund the free kick. A collision led to Wolfskehlen FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Maximilian Bischoff hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Emmerich Pflüger sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wolfskehlen FC's Morgan Heuer didn't even have to move. After having played for 28 minutes, Emmerich Pflüger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmerich Pflüger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Berko Bilger notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Borussia Dortmund's Folke Arnim. Folke Arnim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Jakobus Oyan came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Wolfskehlen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakobus Oyan couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alfred Goetsch hit a great ball. Morgan Heuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmerich Pflüger in the 40th minute of the match. Eckehard Stelze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunther Schuster hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wolfskehlen FC's zone, Emmerich Pflüger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morgan Heuer came out of the goal and Emmerich Pflüger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Wolfskehlen FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the game, Alfred Goetsch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The supporters of Wolfskehlen FC booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Goetsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunther Schuster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Folke Arnim made a huge save. 56 minutes into the game, Jakobus Oyan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Folke Arnim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Borussia Dortmund's Emmerich Pflüger got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Goetsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Morgan Heuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Folke Arnim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakobus Oyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wolfskehlen FC's Morgan Heuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmerich Pflüger in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Wolfskehlen FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Berko Bilger hit a great ball. If Emmerich Pflüger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morgan Heuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Goetsch in the 75th minute of play. Morgan Heuer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eckehard Stelze's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Gil Sülzner charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Sülzner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gil Sülzner kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Emmerich Pflüger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Heuer having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Harro Bentz notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Wolfskehlen FC's Morgan Heuer. Morgan Heuer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eckehard Stelze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximilian Bischoff got free with Folke Arnim in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Harro Bentz came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Borussia Dortmund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harro Bentz couldn't finish the play. Eckehard Stelze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Morgan Heuer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The Borussia Dortmund supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wolfskehlen FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Wolfskehlen FC.
