Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Engelbert Borchert made the kick off and thus started the match. Arne Pötters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caspar Berg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kostja Baumeister during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes Hochstadt FSV got a freekick which was hit by Kostja Baumeister. Caspar Berg came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Leusel's Joel Schubert. But to his dismay, Joel Schubert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eckhard Gedlich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Engelbert Borchert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Lovis Rampp fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eckhard Gedlich, passed just outside the right post. Tomislav Öllerich charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomislav Öllerich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot by Eberhard Schicker from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Eckhard Gedlich's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Arne Pötters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caspar Berg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arne Pötters went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Pötters in the 26th minute of play forced Hochstadt FSV's goalkeeper Caspar Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lovis Rampp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eckhard Gedlich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Guido Gessinger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leusel and the Hochstadt FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Leusel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Gessinger to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Hochstadt FSV's Engelbert Borchert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Lovis Rampp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eckhard Gedlich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 48 minutes, Engelbert Borchert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hochstadt FSV and the Leusel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Engelbert Borchert hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arne Pötters made a kick off. When Wolfram Bastmüller fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hochstadt FSV's protests and gave Wolfram Bastmüller a yellow card for diving instead. Wolfram Bastmüller hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Joel Schubert might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caspar Berg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Schubert ran back to his position shaking his head. Caspar Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Pötters in the 59th minute of the match. Engelbert Borchert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eckhard Gedlich having to make a save. Caspar Berg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arne Pötters's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Caspar Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Pötters in the 76th minute of play. Hochstadt FSV's Caspar Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Pötters in the 77th minute of play. Wolfram Bastmüller took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eckhard Gedlich. Leusel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Leusel booed when Hochstadt FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostja Baumeister didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Pötters in the 84th minute of play forced Hochstadt FSV's goalkeeper Caspar Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joel Schubert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florenz Wolf kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Joel Schubert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caspar Berg having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Joel Schubert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caspar Berg. Hochstadt FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Schubert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Leusel supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leusel would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
