If Ersan Weidlandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakobus Oyan to strike the kick off in the second half. Ersan Weidlandt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Heuer having to interfere. SV Wehen Wiesbaden's Ersan Weidlandt got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 minutes, Jakobus Oyan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SV Wehen Wiesbaden's Ursus Pfeffer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jo Jahn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zvonimir Fritz during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute Jo Jahn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Heuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that SV Wehen Wiesbaden were the better team. SV Wehen Wiesbaden's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
