Victor Sager made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Goldmann in the 7th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Sven Bauriegel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Husen-Kurl's Victor Sager was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 13 played minutes Husen-Kurl got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Riemann. Jonas Goldmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Sager having to interfere. Ovid Abraham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven Bauriegel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, one of Husen-Kurl:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sönke Marks walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to Husen-Kurl getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Niko Brömme hit a great ball. Victor Sager took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Bauriegel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovid Abraham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mike Strobl fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barssa2022's protests and gave Mike Strobl a yellow card for diving instead. Mike Strobl hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The Husen-Kurl players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Barssa2022 were winning 0-1.

Sven Bauriegel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niko Brömme hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Husen-Kurl's Horatio Bommer in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Barssa2022's goalie prevented a goal. After 60 minutes of play FC Barssa2022's Mike Strobl was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. With his leg Victor Sager managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when FC Barssa2022's Sven Bauriegel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Heintje Sigrist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Bauer in the 69th minute of play forced FC Barssa2022's goalkeeper Kim Helbig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Husen-Kurl's Christoph Bauer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kim Helbig was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 78 minutes, Heintje Sigrist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barssa2022's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heintje Sigrist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Bauer in the 81st minute of play forced FC Barssa2022's goalkeeper Kim Helbig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Bauriegel struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Victor Sager didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barssa2022. The audience was convinced that Sven Bauriegel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Sager was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. When Christoph Bauer came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Husen-Kurl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christoph Bauer couldn't finish the play.
