Kostja Baumeister's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Sager read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Victor Sager took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Engelbert Borchert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes in the game, Lovis Rampp fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Victor Sager having to interfere. Engelbert Borchert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Sager having to interfere. Engelbert Borchert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolf Riemann kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When Hochstadt FSV's Engelbert Borchert, in the 48th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Hochstadt FSV.

After having played for 56 minutes, Lovis Rampp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hochstadt FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lovis Rampp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Sager showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Engelbert Borchert, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Rolf Riemann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
