Erwin Flamme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Oberacher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Herrmann Stünker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rainer Seibert during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KEVOLINO FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rainer Seibert hit a great ball. Raphael Oberacher was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edzard Bar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wim Gonder to strike the kick off in the second half. Raphael Oberacher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wim Gonder's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Wilfried Renfordt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ole Dirkes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. When Wim Gonder came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the SC Preußen Münster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Gonder couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, KEVOLINO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Gonder came free, but Raphael Oberacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Preußen Münster's Rodolfo Usbeck got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Preußen Münster's goalkeeper Ole Dirkes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of SC Preußen Münster booed when KEVOLINO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilles Heller didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute of the match Edzard Bar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raphael Oberacher skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to KEVOLINO FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rainer Seibert hit a great ball. Wim Gonder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raphael Oberacher having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Gonder in the 91st minute of play forced KEVOLINO FC's goalkeeper Raphael Oberacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilken Czycholl's late challenge caught a SC Preußen Münster's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilken Czycholl helped the player get up and apologised. Wilken Czycholl kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Raphael Oberacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Flamme in the 93rd minute of the match.
