When Patrick Rebsch fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1. FC Kleve's protests and gave Patrick Rebsch a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes 1. FC Kleve got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Rebsch. In the 23rd match minute, 1. FC Kleve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Demelbauer to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronny Ipek made a kick off. When Sandro Gaede, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Feddo Barz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Feddo Barz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Volz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Armand Vitus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feddo Barz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 95 minutes of play 1. SV Wehen Wiesbaden's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
