Otmar Steffens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Wilmen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Niederholsten:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bokelerostermoor:s goal. Thomas Adelfinger walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Otmar Steffens made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Shawn Hofmann sent off a good shot on target. Gottlieb Molkenthin charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gottlieb Molkenthin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bokelerostermoor's Gottlieb Molkenthin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Otmar Steffens was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rudolf Corr. In the 25thth minute of the game Niclas Behrenbeck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Niederholsten's Friedrich Laier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Friedrich Laier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erko Peelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Behrenbeck in the 29th minute of play forced Niederholsten's goalkeeper Friedrich Laier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Erko Peelen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Friedrich Laier. Niederholsten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erko Peelen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 38 minutes into the game, Niederholsten's Hermann Decker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otmar Steffens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 43rdth minute of the game Niclas Behrenbeck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Niederholsten's Friedrich Laier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Adelfinger during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bokelerostermoor! When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Niederholsten's Rudolf Corr got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Otmar Steffens.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niclas Behrenbeck to strike the kick off in the second half. Friedrich Laier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Behrenbeck in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Niclas Behrenbeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Niederholsten defense, Erko Peelen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Friedrich Laier. The Niederholsten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Friedrich Laier should have stopped the shot. Eliah Boberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otmar Steffens having to interfere. Hermann Decker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bokelerostermoor's zone, Aaron Gehlhaar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otmar Steffens came out of the goal and Aaron Gehlhaar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Niclas Behrenbeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bokelerostermoor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niclas Behrenbeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermann Decker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Otmar Steffens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erko Peelen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Friedrich Laier made a huge save. Hermann Decker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Shawn Hofmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niederholsten's supporters rose to their feet, but Shawn Hofmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otmar Steffens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermann Decker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otmar Steffens having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Bokelerostermoor's Erko Peelen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Friedrich Laier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Erko Peelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
