SV Wehen Wiesbaden's Nico Brübach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save SV Wehen Wiesbaden from getting a goal against them. When Sandro Gaede came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the SV Wehen Wiesbaden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Gaede couldn't finish the play. Raphael Oberacher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Riemann in the 12th minute of play. If Sandro Gaede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute.
