After 2 minutes, Meral Götz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Störmthal Red Sox and the Bokelerostermoor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Störmthal Red Sox was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meral Götz to maneuver through the defense. After 5 minutes of play, Bokelerostermoor's Niclas Behrenbeck made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hellmut Beckers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erko Peelen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hellmut Beckers having to make a save. Volker Steffel charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Volker Steffel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Volker Steffel kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Erko Peelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Bokelerostermoor's goal looked a bit too open when Volker Steffel came free, but Otmar Steffens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erko Peelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hellmut Beckers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermann Mönikes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niclas Behrenbeck in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hellmut Beckers saved Störmthal Red Sox from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Niclas Behrenbeck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hellmut Beckers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Hellmut Beckers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erko Peelen in the 41st minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Volker Steffel made the kick off in the second half. Thomas Adelfinger kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Erko Peelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hellmut Beckers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Erko Peelen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niclas Behrenbeck struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Hellmut Beckers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bokelerostermoor. Erko Peelen might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hellmut Beckers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erko Peelen ran back to his position shaking his head. Otmar Steffens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volker Steffel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes Bokelerostermoor got a freekick which was hit by Reinhold Meckel. Ansgar Hajduk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hellmut Beckers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinhold Meckel in the 77th minute of the match. Niclas Behrenbeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hellmut Beckers having to interfere. Bokelerostermoor's Niclas Behrenbeck got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Erko Peelen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bokelerostermoor's supporters rose to their feet, but Erko Peelen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hellmut Beckers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erko Peelen scored 0-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hellmut Beckers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Niclas Behrenbeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The attack was good, but when Erko Peelen in the 93rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in Störmthal Red Sox's zone, Niclas Behrenbeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hellmut Beckers came out of the goal and Niclas Behrenbeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Bokelerostermoor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Störmthal Red Sox throughout the match.
