Adelheidsdorf FSV's Joerg-Uwe Marsing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armand Vitus in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, 1. FC Kleve's Feddo Barz got control of the ball when Oliver Pässler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan Pantel hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Timur Dülberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feddo Barz having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Ronny Ipek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1. FC Kleve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Ipek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feddo Barz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timur Dülberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1. FC Kleve's Feddo Barz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Kleve from getting a goal against them. When Adelheidsdorf FSV's Timur Dülberg in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronny Ipek was the one to do the kick off. Leon Demelbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Erwin Schwering sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feddo Barz skillfully saved the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Adelheidsdorf FSV's Oliver Pässler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feddo Barz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adelheidsdorf FSV's Joerg-Uwe Marsing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Ipek in the 62nd minute of play. 1. FC Kleve's Ronny Ipek got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Timur Dülberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Pässler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feddo Barz having to interfere. Feddo Barz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timur Dülberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 80 minutes into the match, 1. FC Kleve's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Pässler came free, but Feddo Barz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feddo Barz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Dülberg in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Timur Dülberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feddo Barz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Armand Vitus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joerg-Uwe Marsing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronny Ipek's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Joerg-Uwe Marsing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Ipek, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, 1. FC Kleve's Armand Vitus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joerg-Uwe Marsing. Joerg-Uwe Marsing yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Adelheidsdorf FSV fully deserved thier win.
