Fred Schwarze started the match with the kick off. BOGGS FC's Fred Schwarze got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Mathis Heidrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Hansa Rostock's Clemens Gehm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lutz Prielhofer in the 28th minute of play. In the 34th minute Marc Staudt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemens Gehm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Schwarze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Clemens Gehm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Schwarze in the 36th minute of play forced FC Hansa Rostock's goalkeeper Clemens Gehm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Hansa Rostock booed when BOGGS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Dubinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Schwarze charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Schwarze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes BOGGS FC got a freekick which was hit by Fred Schwarze.

After a rather tough play, BOGGS FC's Lutz Prielhofer got a free kick in the 59th minute. Dieter Deffke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Hentrop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, FC Hansa Rostock's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lutz Prielhofer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. FC Hansa Rostock's Clemens Gehm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FC Hansa Rostock from getting a goal against them. Knut Gelz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Mathis Heidrich's late challenge caught a FC Hansa Rostock's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathis Heidrich helped the player get up and apologised. Julian Vöhringer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dieter Deffke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemens Gehm was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Lutz Prielhofer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lutz Prielhofer really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. FC Hansa Rostock's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Marc Staudt scored to the left of an out of position Clemens Gehm, making the score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, BOGGS FC's Hugo Dubinski got a free kick in the 94th minute. BOGGS FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC Hansa Rostock's much stronger midfield.
