If Erdal Woll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernhard Teufer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens Mann having to make a save. Ingo Solms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Mann having to interfere. After 10 played minutes ⚽ K O L L E R U P . FK ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Bernd Casper. 11 minutes into the game, Martin Bannert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sagemuhle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⚽ K O L L E R U P . FK ⚽ the free kick. The supporters of ⚽ K O L L E R U P . FK ⚽ booed when Sagemuhle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bannert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flo Rombach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lothar Groth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flo Rombach to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Erdal Woll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ⚽ K O L L E R U P . FK ⚽'s Lothar Groth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ingo Solms could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jens Mann made a huge save. Boris Henn hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jens Mann made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Graciano Vander sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Flo Rombach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Sagemuhle's goal looked a bit too open when Täve Sacher came free, but Jens Mann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagemuhle's Jens Mann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernhard Teufer in the 83rd minute of play.
