Kümmern FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herwig Friedmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dominik Barkhausen fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kümmern FC's protests and gave Dominik Barkhausen a yellow card for diving instead. Dominik Barkhausen hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdinand Lippuner was the one to do the kick off. Sitterswald's Pär Silz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Sitterswald from getting a goal against them. Eugen Wentzel struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Pär Silz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kümmern FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herwig Friedmann in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pär Silz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugen Wentzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Pär Silz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Kümmern FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sitterswald.
