Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Raoul Rubeck started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Melle's Ferdinand Bensch ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Otmar Strasbach. Otmar Strasbach yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Melle booed when Islamspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Jendrossek didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Islamspor getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Toralf Diebold hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Bensch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Islamspor the free kick. Yussuf Zamposs short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Otmar Strasbach to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 20 minutes, Yussuf Zampos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yussuf Zampos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raoul Rubeck's late challenge caught a Melle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raoul Rubeck helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Islamspor's Raoul Rubeck got a free kick in the 25th minute. Yussuf Zampos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otmar Strasbach having to interfere. Yussuf Zampos in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Otmar Strasbach, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 40th minute Raoul Rubeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Thaler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Bensch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Otmar Strasbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Toralf Diebold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Ferdinand Bensch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Theo Jendrossek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Konrad Thaler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, Melle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pal Jager to maneuver through the defense. Konrad Thaler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raoul Rubeck went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Otmar Strasbach came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Melle's Ferdinand Bensch. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Bensch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With a little luck, Melle's Konrad Thaler got control of the ball when Balthasar Aubert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yussuf Zampos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Otmar Strasbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konrad Thaler made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Theo Jendrossek sent off a good shot on target. When Dietrich Voss fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melle's protests and gave Dietrich Voss a yellow card for diving instead. Dietrich Voss hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Islamspor's Krister Hafner broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Samir Engbertz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dietrich Voss was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 83rd minute, Dietrich Voss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Melle's goalkeeper Konrad Thaler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Theo Jendrossek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samir Engbertz charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samir Engbertz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Melle's Samir Engbertz got a free kick in the 94th minute. Melle were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Islamspor for a fine match.
