Spectators: 5179 (Terracing: 4029, Seating: 1050, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oliver Schmitz made the kick off which started today's match. After 7 minutes, Luis Haupt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JMF and the SV Gengenbach players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Luis Haupt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Haslbeck, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of JMF booed when SV Gengenbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johann Todzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Andreas Sachse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alf Harder was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Andreas Sachse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Alf Harder made a huge save. When Andreas Sachse came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the JMF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Sachse couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Joseph Wittig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes JMF got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Schmitz. Anno Ollert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansbert Lanzinger having to interfere. Alf Harder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Sachse in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, SV Gengenbach's Johann Todzi got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erhard Haye de la made a kick off. JMF's Oliver Schmitz got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erhard Haye de la sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SV Gengenbach's Alf Harder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Sachse in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Anno Ollert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Erhard Haye de la managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Gengenbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Erhard Haye de la was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ansbert Lanzinger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Allan Haslbeck hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Oskar Tebbe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alf Harder. SV Gengenbach's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anno Ollert might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ansbert Lanzinger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anno Ollert ran back to his position shaking his head. After 80 played minutes JMF got a freekick which was hit by Luis Kunze. A hard shot 81 in the game by Anno Ollert from a close distance when the talented Ansbert Lanzinger managed to make a qualified save. JMF's players were relieved. If Anno Ollert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Sachse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alf Harder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Schmitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Anno Ollert managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Gengenbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Anno Ollert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ansbert Lanzinger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SV Gengenbach were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
