When Emilio Degner came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Rothensee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Degner couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Markus Frings ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kasimir Fusten was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 16th minute Walter Beneyto Arago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasimir Fusten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Degner in the 18th minute of play forced Paris Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Achim Yilmaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Rothensee got a freekick which was hit by Jules Staratschek. Rothensee's Kasimir Fusten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Frings in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Rothensee getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jules Staratschek hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Walter Beneyto Arago notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rothensee's Kasimir Fusten. Kasimir Fusten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Markus Frings sped through Rothensee's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kasimir Fusten. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After 51 minutes of play, Rothensee's Philo Bodewig made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Achim Yilmaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rothensee's Kasimir Fusten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Rothensee from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Rothensee getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jules Staratschek hit a great ball. Paris Saint-Germain's Walter Beneyto Arago managed to work through Rothensee's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Walter Beneyto Arago dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jules Staratschek during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Jules Staratschek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludger Dettinger was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Markus Frings fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasimir Fusten having to interfere. Philo Bodewig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achim Yilmaz having to interfere. Markus Frings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kasimir Fusten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Beneyto Arago in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Markus Frings had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kasimir Fusten. Rothensee's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Markus Frings was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Philo Bodewig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Degner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philo Bodewig struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Achim Yilmaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rothensee. After having played for 88 minutes, Philo Bodewig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rothensee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philo Bodewig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfred Gröner hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Markus Frings might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kasimir Fusten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Markus Frings ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Beneyto Arago in the 96th minute of play forced Rothensee's goalkeeper Kasimir Fusten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Paris Saint-Germain left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rothensee.
