Islamspor's Otmar Strasbach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Islamspor from getting a goal against them. Otmar Strasbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Degner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Rothensee booed when Islamspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balthasar Aubert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raoul Rubeck was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Islamspor's Tyron Schewe got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raoul Rubeck in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kasimir Fusten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute, Raoul Rubeck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kasimir Fusten was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Islamspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Theo Jendrossek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasimir Fusten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute of the match, Theo Jendrossek got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kasimir Fusten was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Raoul Rubeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kasimir Fusten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raoul Rubeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
