Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ferdinand Bensch made the kick off which started today's match. Dominik Bakker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Thaler having to interfere. Heiko Schommer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konrad Thaler having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferdinand Bensch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ken Leitner. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Schönhof's Ken Leitner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Bensch in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Heiko Schommer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konrad Thaler was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 20 minutes, Dietrich Voss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Melle and the Schönhof players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dietrich Voss kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Yussuf Zampos struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ken Leitner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melle. Schönhof's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ferdinand Bensch 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, one of Schönhof:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pal Jager shot the penalty kick right outside the post. A collision led to Melle getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Samir Engbertz hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Schönhof defense, Yussuf Zampos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ken Leitner. The Schönhof fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ken Leitner should have stopped the shot. After having played for 44 minutes, Dominik Bakker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schönhof's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Bakker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ferdinand Bensch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heiko Schommer to make the kick off. Brian Zichmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dietrich Voss kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Volker Hog-Heidel, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Heiko Schommer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Konrad Thaler, 3-1. Heiko Schommer might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konrad Thaler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heiko Schommer ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Melle getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lovis Kramer hit a great ball. In the 69th minute of the match Volker Hog-Heidel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konrad Thaler skillfully saved the ball. If Yussuf Zampos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konrad Thaler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiko Schommer, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 78th minute, Dietrich Voss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heiko Schommer spun around in front of the goal 80 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Melle's goal. Abbe Wegener charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abbe Wegener the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abbe Wegener kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Yussuf Zampos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ken Leitner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Ferdinand Bensch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yussuf Zampos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominik Bakkers short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Konrad Thaler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ken Leitner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Bensch in the 94th minute of the match.
