Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heiko Schommer got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Heiko Schommer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Schönhof's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JMF the free kick. Heiko Schommer hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Luis Kunze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ken Leitner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiko Schommer in the 11th minute of play forced JMF's goalkeeper Ansbert Lanzinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Sachse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ken Leitner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Heiko Schommer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Heiko Schommer came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Schönhof fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heiko Schommer couldn't finish the play. Dominik Bakker struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ansbert Lanzinger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schönhof. Dominik Bakker took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ansbert Lanzinger. Ansbert Lanzinger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 28th minute, Andreas Sachse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ken Leitner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Dominik Bakker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ansbert Lanzinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiko Schommer in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Schönhof booed when JMF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Haupt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Janek Winkelmann hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Schönhof's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Sachse came free, but Ken Leitner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Schmitz made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Botho Scherzer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schönhof and the JMF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Botho Scherzer kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ken Leitner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Schmitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ansbert Lanzinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiko Schommer in the 54th minute of play. Schönhof's Dominik Bakker got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, JMF's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Bakker came free, but Ansbert Lanzinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to JMF getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jörg Bokan hit a great ball. Schönhof's Ken Leitner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Schönhof from getting a goal against them. Ken Leitner was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Oskar Tebbe. After 72 minutes, Dominik Bakker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schönhof and the JMF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of JMF booed when Schönhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Bakker didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Bakker in the 75th minute of play forced JMF's goalkeeper Ansbert Lanzinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Bakker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ansbert Lanzinger having to make a save. 79 minutes into the game, Abbe Wegener was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Schönhof's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JMF the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Luis Haupt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Schönhof's Volker Hog-Heidel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for JMF. Janek Winkelmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Schönhof had played much better football throughout.
