Spectators: 5179 (Terracing: 4029, Seating: 1050, VIP seats: 100) Oliver Schmitz made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the game, Piast's Lars Neitzel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ansbert Lanzinger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Ron Stöckle came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Piast fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ron Stöckle couldn't finish the play. If Ivica Ladwig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute, Lars Neitzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, JMF's goal looked a bit too open when Ivica Ladwig came free, but Ansbert Lanzinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörg Bokan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Lars Neitzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ansbert Lanzinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ansbert Lanzinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Neitzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Luis Haupt kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Piast getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ivica Ladwig hit a great ball. Ivica Ladwig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Lars Neitzel made the kick off in the second half. Ivica Ladwig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansbert Lanzinger having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Neitzel in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ansbert Lanzinger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oliver Schmitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hergen Iggelheimer having to interfere. Ansbert Lanzinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Neitzel in the 68th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Neitzel during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes Piast got a freekick which was hit by Lars Neitzel. 74 minutes into the match, Piast's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Sachse came free, but Hergen Iggelheimer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hergen Iggelheimer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Schmitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind JMF's goalkeeper Ansbert Lanzinger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivica Ladwig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansbert Lanzinger having to interfere. Ansbert Lanzinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Neitzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Sachse in the 94th minute of play forced Piast's goalkeeper Hergen Iggelheimer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piast's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
