Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Heiko Schommer took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Rothensee's Emilio Degner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ken Leitner. Ken Leitner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Philo Bodewig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ken Leitner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philo Bodewig in the 24th minute. Ken Leitner came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Rothensee's Philo Bodewig. But to his dismay, Philo Bodewig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Kasimir Fusten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiko Schommer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Schönhof's Ken Leitner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Degner in the 31st minute of play. If Dominik Bakker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Degner might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ken Leitner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Degner ran back to his position shaking his head. Philo Bodewig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ken Leitner made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Philo Bodewig sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilio Degner to strike the kick off in the second half. Peter Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Rothensee's Kasimir Fusten got control of the ball when Dominik Bakker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ken Leitner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Degner in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abbe Wegener during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes, Rothensee's Maiko Motzer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ken Leitner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rothensee reached it. Dominik Bakker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kasimir Fusten was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Janek Winkelmann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 82 minute of play. Schönhof's Heiko Schommer got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Degner in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ken Leitner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dominik Bakker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philo Bodewig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Schönhof's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
