Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heiko Schommer got the match started through his kick off. Oferdingen's Wilhelm Gräber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiko Schommer in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Dominik Bakker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilhelm Gräber was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Godo Been was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, one of Oferdingen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Volker Hog-Heidel shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Dominik Bakker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Heiko Schommer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilhelm Gräber, 2-0. After 24 minutes, Janek Winkelmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schönhof and the Oferdingen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Janek Winkelmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominik Bakker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Wilhelm Gräber made a huge save. Willi Deckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominik Bakker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Wilhelm Gräber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Heiko Schommer came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Schönhof fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heiko Schommer couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Dominik Bakker made a precise shot to the right of Wilhelm Gräber. Oferdingen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Dominik Bakker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dominik Bakker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Oferdingen defense, Dominik Bakker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilhelm Gräber. The Oferdingen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilhelm Gräber should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willi Deckers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Dominik Bakker came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Schönhof fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominik Bakker couldn't finish the play. If Dominik Bakker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Oferdingen booed when Schönhof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janek Winkelmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Curt Roemer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oferdingen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schönhof the free kick. Curt Roemer hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Volker Hog-Heidel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilhelm Gräber. Oferdingen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Dominik Bakker notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Oferdingen's Wilhelm Gräber. Wilhelm Gräber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carl Schröder charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Schröder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Schönhof booed when Oferdingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Schröder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heiko Schommer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curt Roemer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ken Leitner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiko Schommer in the 88th minute of play forced Oferdingen's goalkeeper Wilhelm Gräber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
