Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frederik Kaindl got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Vechta FSV booed when Hurensöhne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlatan Weilbächer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helmut Gehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arian Renner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hurensöhne FC booed when Vechta FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Murmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederik Kaindl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Helmut Gehl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Kaindl in the 18th minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vechta FSV's goalkeeper Helmut Gehl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Helmut Gehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederik Kaindl, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Knut Schwab made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Henrik Vollberg sent off a good shot on target. When Hurensöhne FC's Frederik Kaindl in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alois Glückler to make the kick off. Arian Renner struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Helmut Gehl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurensöhne FC. Arian Renner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Gehl having to interfere. When Frederik Kaindl came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Hurensöhne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederik Kaindl couldn't finish the play. Hurensöhne FC's Knut Schwab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alois Glückler in the 61st minute of play. Henrik Vollberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Henrik Vollberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard, long distance shot from Marcus Grauslich flew over the goal. Alois Glückler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Schwab having to interfere. Frederik Kaindl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmut Gehl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. A hard shot 80 in the game by Arian Renner from a close distance when the talented Helmut Gehl managed to make a qualified save. Vechta FSV's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Arian Renner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hurensöhne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arian Renner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helmut Gehl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norbert Lienert hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Vechta FSV's Helmut Gehl got control of the ball when Arian Renner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Helmut Gehl made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Arian Renner sent off a good shot on target. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hurensöhne FC! 96 minutes into the game, Vechta FSV's Enrique Köppen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Knut Schwab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.
